Last night I stitched along with Wendy and the crew for Friday Night Sew In. Although I was tired I couldn't help but pick up my stitching while watching Better Homes and Gardens on TV. Currently slowly getting through Wendy's gorgeous Christmas design. You can get your own copy here . Block one done! I changed the French word for an Italian one meaning the same thing. Block 2 done! Don't you just love the little birdie? Block 3 ..........almost done!  I'm hoping I can get it finished by Christmas. Thanks Wendy, for hosting and thanks everyone else for stitching along with me. Pop on over to Wendy's blog and see what everyone  got up to last night.

Still Here!

Yes! I'm still around and still stitching. Lots going on but mostly secret sewing. I have finally completed my Shabby Roses Churn Dash Stitch-a-long with Jenny of Elefantz . I had decided to make my blocks into a table runner and originally I was going to use it on my dining room table, but discovered it was the perfect size of my coffee table! Time to move on to something else and I am making the Leanne Beasley sewing caddie!  Don't you just love stitching with variegated threads? I am using Dogwood Rose by Cottage Garden Threads. Can't wait to make it up and use.  Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.

I have lots of blocks completed and with only a few more to do I can begin to put it all together. They are so quick to stitch and make up it has been very satisfying when time and tiredness have almost stopped me altogether! With these nearly finished I have traced out another set to commence and this time it is a Leanne Beasley block from Country Threads Vol 5 Number 6. Being away for work for the rest of the week this stitchery will give me something to do at night. I don't mind needle and thread for company when I'm away from home. By the way if you are looking for some wonderful Christmas stitching and quil...
