A New Year.

Another new year has rolled around and I've decided it's time to begin again on the blog. I will have more time now to do the things I love as I head into retirement. There's no slowing down but renewed enthusiasm looking forward.

Things like gardening, sewing, baking and taking time to read more books etc.

As I sit in the garden every afternoon I look around and see lots of things to do and rather than becoming frustrated, I am excited to finally make a reality some of those Pinterest  ideas I've been saving.

I also brought a new Air fryer cookbook while doing my Christmas shopping and am going to make my way through it during the year.

I can't wait to show you what I cook.

I have already made Pizza in the Air Fryer, but it's not a recipe from this book.
From the sewing table there is a lot of wonderful fabric waiting to be turned into everyday items for around the home and for a little market stall I intend to have, as well as things for wearing.

Not one for making new year resolutions, I do however like to make lists of things to do and most of all I love to cross off items on that list.
So here's to a new year of doing the things you love.๐Ÿ’—

  1. Enjoy your retirement. I just retired this year and although it is new to me, I enjoy it and having more time for family and the things I enjoy doing. Wishing you good things in 2022

  2. Welcome back to blogland! I too have recently returned and had to do a bit of an update to share the past few months! We have also recently moved interstate and I'm now in semi retirement which is just delightful ...... wishing you well for 22!

  3. It's exciting to know you'll have time to follow those rabbit trails, sew new things, cook up feasts in the air fryer, and enjoy that gorgeous garden. May this coming year bring you even more joy than you hope for, dear Rosie. xxx

  4. Happy New Year, Rosie! So pleased to see you writing again. Those fabrics look so beautiful, such a lovely palette. Enjoy your cooking and gardening. Jennie๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™
